HorseHide Jackets


 

Mostly dating back to the 40's and early 50's, horsehide was the leather of choice.  Some of the manufactures were Buco, Grais, Harley-Davidson, and Sears.   As this page is developed pictures of the various styles and manufactures will be shown.  For now, here is a very classic mint condition Buco horsehide jacket.   Notice the plaid wool lining.
